Crystal Clark is a multimedia journalist and reporter for FOX 13. She comes to the Sunshine State from Toledo, Ohio, where she worked as an anchor and reporter for WTOL-TV.
Crystal says she's excited to trade in the cold, icy winters of the Midwest for the warm, sandy beaches of Florida. In Ohio, Crystal covered a variety of news stories ranging from recording-breaking snowfall to triple-murder trials. She was awarded the Michele Clark Excellence in Journalism Award in December of 2014 for her work.
Prior to Toledo, Crystal worked along the coast of North Carolina as a news producer and anchor at WECT-TV in Wilmington. It was there she helped pioneer the first weekend morning news program for her station. Always a "one man band," Crystal solo anchored the show, in addition to writing, producing, web producing, and editing video.
Born and raised in North Carolina, Crystal graduated cum laude with a BA degree in Media Communications from North Carolina State University. She's a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. On any given day, you'll catch her sporting her pink and green or red and white to cheer on the Wolfpack!
When she isn't reporting the news, Crystal spends her free time outdoors. She loves relaxing at the beaches in Pinellas, cruising along Bayshore Boulevard, and taking long road trips to explore all that Florida has to offer.
