Julian joined the FOX 13 news team as a general assignment reporter in September 2017.
For the last two years, he has called Georgia home, working as a reporter/anchor for the CBS affiliate WGCL in Atlanta. Throughout his duration in Atlanta, Julian covered major local and national stories such as the collapse of a bridge along I-85, several contentious protests, and the heated debate over the construction of a mosque in a predominantly conservative neighborhood.
Prior to joining CBS46, Julian split time anchoring and reporting in St. Louis as well. He was one of the first reporters in the market to show the nation what was taking place as riots and looting broke out following the 2014 shooting death of Michael Brown in Ferguson. It was also in St. Louis where Julian earned an Emmy nomination for his story exploring a local police department and their new technology which gave everyday citizens a chance to walk in the shoes of an officer forced to deal with a life-or-death situation.
Julian has also worked in nearby Ft. Myers and Miami with local news teams. Julian is a Florida native and grew up in Deerfield Beach. He is a graduate of the University of Florida. Go Gators!
He enjoys traveling, staying fit, and he's a part-time dog trainer.
He looks forward to learning the ins and outs of all things Bay area, so feel free to connect with him:
