Chick-fil-A to give customers free food April 1

- Is it an April Fools prank or the real deal? We're going to hope it's true, because Chick-fil-A  said some Bay Area locations would give free food to customers on April 1. 

The only catch - you have to ask. 

Chick-fil-A Clearwater made the announcement March 30 on Facebook, saying select Tampa Bay Area locations would give customers a promotional card worth one free Spicy Southwest Salad.

"All you have to do is ask! But better hurry, supplies are limited," the post explained.

Whether it's an April Fool's Day prank or not, we're not sure. We will take our chances on the information being legitimate and head over to Chick-fil-A, just to be sure.
