JACKSONVILLE (FOX 13) - Calling all home cooks -- at least those under the age of 13! MasterChef Junior is coming to Florida in search for contestants for the popular show's next season.
An open casting call is taking place this weekend in Jacksonville. Auditions are from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Omni Hotel on Water Street.
The show is the junior version of the cooking competition featuring international chef Gordon Ramsey. Casting is underway for the series' sixth season.
Those interested in attending this weekend's audition are asked to register at www.masterchefjuniorcasting.com ahead of time.
For those unable to attend an open casting call, home video may be submitted. Complete the application at masterchefjuniorcasting.com and submit a casting video no later than July 15, 2016.
All applicants must be at least 8 years or older on or before August 1, 2017.
