Barbra Streisand announces first-ever Tampa show

- Music, memories, and magic: That's what legendary performer Barbra Streisand is promising at her first-ever show in Tampa later this year.

Four new stops of her tour, "The Music...The Mem'ries...The Magic," were announced today, including a November 30 date at Amalie Arena in Tampa.

"The newly announced tour dates mark Streisand's first ever appearances in both Houston, at the Toyota Center, and Tampa, at the Amalie Arena," a press release about the show stated.  "Her performance at American Airlines Arena will be Streisand's first appearance in the Miami Beach area since her performance at the Caf Pompeii in the Eden Roc Hotel in March 1963."

Streisand, 74, is the best-selling female recording artist of all time.  She's coming off performances in Los Angeles, San Jose, Las Vegas, Chicago, Brooklyn, Boston, Washington D.C., Philadelphia and Toronto.

Tickets for these upcoming shows will go on sale Thursday, September 22 for American Express card holders, and September 29 for everyone else.
