TMZ: 'Barney Miller' star, Ron Glass dies at 71

- TMZ reports one of the stars of the hit 70s sticom "Barney Miller," Ron Glass has died at the age of 71.

Glass battled several illnesses recently, and was an active member in the L.A. Buddhist community.

He died Friday.

Glass was nominated for an Emmy for his role as Detective Ron Harris on "Barney Miller." He also made appearances on the original Hawaii Five-O, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., FireFLY and an episode of CSI in 2014.
