AMskills program offers alternative to learning, finding a job

- Some people go to colleges, but college isn’t for everyone.

You can learn a trade at American Manufacturing Skills Camp, or AMskills, which has several locations in Tampa Bay. It’s a way for people to learn a hands-on skill, explore different careers and, get them into a job.

There are five career tracks with focuses in mechatronics, industrial maintenance and CNC machining. AMSkills would then assign mentors and coaches as you enter your field.
