Charities begin preparing for holiday season

TAMPA (FOX 13) - For charities, October means they need to begin preparing for the holiday season.

Charities who look out for those less fortunate are making their plans now, and searching for volunteers.

Charley ventured out to Metropolitan Ministries, but also said there are many good organizations in our area, and you should look where your heart leads you. Metropolitan Ministries happens to be where Charley, along with other FOX 13 employees, will be volunteering for a network-wide initiative called Impact Week. It’s meant to encourage employees to volunteers in their communities.
