HEAVENDROPt turns military parachutes into new products

- There is a program in Pinellas County that combines recycling and helping those in need.

HEAVENDROPt is an interesting program that is an effort in recycling that benefits both people with disabilities and our nation’s military. They take used military parachutes and turn them into new products.

Everything from bracelets and keychains to dog bandanas to backpacks and hammocks. They offer vocational skills to people with disabilities to do some of the work.

For more information on HEAVENDROPt, head over to the organization’s website.
