History of glass art shines at 'Imagine Museum'

There is a new museum in town. 

Imagine Museum, devoted to works made out of glass, is opening in St. Petersburg, and promises to take you through the visual history of the artistic medium. The museum showcases plenty glass creations as the practice of studio art glass evolved over the past five decades. 

Here's what the museum says about themselves:

With plenty of visuals representing 50 years of history of the medium, Imagine Museum is poised to become a national center for studio glass. More than 500 works of glass are on display at Imagine Museum from 55 masters. This is far more than just another museum in St. Petersburg. It’s a singular expression of what Studio Glass has become.

It opens to the public on Tuesday, March 20.
