MegaCon Tampa Bay arrives this weekend

- A Temple Terrace comic book shop opened just in time for this weekend’s MegaCon Tampa Bay.

Charley visited Uncanny Heroes which opened up in August. It’s the latest comic book store that will offer “top dollar” for books in good condition. They would also buy comics from Orlando, Tampa, Brandon, Lakeland and around central Florida. You just need to call them to make an arrangement.

Charley went to check out what comic goodies they had to offer, and to also discuss the upcoming MegaCon in downtown Tampa.  The event is a comic book and pop culture convention that kicks off on Friday and lasts for three days. Artists, collectors, vendors and cosplayers will take over the Tampa Convention Center during that time.

Among the celebrities expected to attend is William Shatner and Stan Lee. MegaCon started in Orlando, promising the ultimate fan experience.
