New Glazer's exhibit helps kids become familiar with real medical equipment

Over at the Glazer Children’s Museum, they have just opened a new exhibit.

The exhibit is in cooperation with St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital. The whole idea is to allow children to play in an environment that also teaches them about real medical equipment.

There’s a little ambulance, CT scanner, and other interactive stations where kids can pretend to be doctors and nurses.

The goal is to not only encourage thoughtful play, but also demystify the hospital so it’s not such a scary place in case a child has to visit.
