New museum showcases western, wildlife art pieces

- Another museum is opening up in downtown St. Petersburg.

The official grand opening of The James Museum of Western and Wildlife Art is happening this Saturday. There is an amazing collection of giant statues and breathtaking paintings.

Tom and Mary James have been collecting art throughout their marriage and wanted to build a museum to share their collection with the world. James is the chairman emeritus of Raymond James Financial.

The museum is massive. The couple purchased pieces of art during their travels out West that showcase action and attention. They bought pieces not only for themselves, but to help those artists make a living.
