World kissing record set at Six Flags of mistletoe kissing couples

- Six Flags Over Georgia, along with six additional Six Flags parks, breaks a GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title for the "Most couples kissing under the mistletoe," as part of the park’s annual Holiday in the Park wintertime celebration.

The record number of couples kissing from coast to coast now stands at 839 or 1,678 people. Six Flags Over Georgia originally set the record for a single venue, at 201 couples, in 2015.

“Six Flags really outdid itself this year by making history and celebrating the holidays by bringing people together from coast to coast to set a new world record for the most couples kissing under the mistletoe,” said GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS Adjudicator Christina Conlon.

“For the second year in a row at our park, hundreds of guests were a part of this world record and created a lifelong memory by kissing their loved one under the mistletoe during Holiday in the Park, which is a tradition in Atlanta,” said Six Flags Over Georgia Park President Dale Kaetzel.
