Florida band holds roadside concert after bus blows tire on I-40

BURKE COUNTY, NC (FOX 46 WJZY) - A blown tire created the perfect opportunity for a pop-up concert along Interstate 40 Monday afternoon.

The band Come Back Alice, based out of St. Petersburg, Florida, say they were on their way to a gig in Richmond, VA when their bus blew a tire on the highway at Exit 111 near Valdese, NC.

While their tire was being fixed, the group decided to pull out their instruments and set up along I-40 for an impromptu concert.

The group posted video of the roadside show on their Facebook page.

The good news, the gang was able to get everything fixed and get back on the road. Come Back Alice will play this weekend in Pittsboro, NC at The BIG What? Festival.
