Police have made an arrest after they say a mosque along Florida's Space Coast was vandalized, with lights and windows smashed by a machete and bacon left at the scene.  Michael Scott Wolfe, 35, of Titusville, is charged with criminal mischief to a mosque, a third-degree felony.

Officers in the Titusville say Wolfe went to the Islamic Society of Central Florida Masjid Al-Munin Mosque on Jan. 1.  Surveillance video shows a man entering the mosque's carport late at night when no one was there and using a machete to smash cameras, lights and windows.  Detectives later identified that man as Wolfe.  He was taken into custody early Monday evening.

Police say bacon was left by the front door. Consumption of pork and products made from pork is forbidden in Islam.  Wolfe was transported to the Brevard County Jail.  He is expected to appear before a judge on Tuesday.
