Woman's miscarriage tattoo helps her remember her unborn child

A miscarriage is a devastatingly painful experience. Women suffer from the immense loss far more often than most believe.
Around 10 to 15 percent of pregnancies end in miscarriage, according to March of Dimes.
One woman has been going viral because of her recent experience.
31-year-old Joan Bremer told TODAY, that doctors confirmed her fears. After suffering cramps and bleeding, she had miscarried.
Bremer felt she needed a way to remember her unborn child forever, so she decided to get a tattoo.
Joan got  a single line creating the shape of a pregnant woman, with a baby in the womb. The woman and baby both have red hearts.
She posted a now-viral picture of the tattoo to Imgur with the caption "I had a miscarriage two weeks ago... And I got this to remember the baby that wasn't meant to be."
The response Joan has received is overwhelming with more than 66,000 views on Imgur alone.
She also thanked her tattoo artist. She edited the picture's caption to add that the artist was Joey at California Electric Tattoo in Soquel, California.
