LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35) - Walt Disney World Resort has announced a number of high-profile tenants that will be coming to Disney Springs -- the entertainment, retail and dining complex is formerly known as Downtown Disney.
Disney Springs is nearing completion on its largest expansion in history, and when finished, will have four distinct outdoor "neighborhoods": The Landing, Marketplace, West Side and Town Center.
Much of the area known as the Town Center was once occupied by an expansive parking lot. Disney went vertical with its parking, adding two large structures that freed much of the property for redevelopment. The following Town Center shops slated to open in phases, beginning May 15, include: Anthropologie, Lacoste, Kate Spade New York, Sephora, Under Armour, M·A·C Cosmetics, Vince Camuto, Vera Bradley, Lucky Brand, Oakley, Coca-Cola Store, Trophy Room, Alex and Ani, Na Hoku, Shore, American Threads, Volcom, Kipling, Francesca’s, Melissa Shoes, UNOde50, Johnston & Murphy, Everything But Water, Free People, Johnny Was, Columbia, Sperry, and Luxury of Time by Diamonds International.
Disney also announced several new dining venues at the Town Center, including: D-Luxe Burger, Amorette’s Patisserie, Tablas Frontera, and Homecoming – Florida Kitchen and Shine Bar by Chef Art Smith.
Disney Springs can now be accessed from westbound Interstate 4 through its own exit ramp and a new connection that leads directly to a parking garage. Self parking remains free and valet parking is also available.
