Amber Alert: Suspect found, 9-year-old still missing

- An alert for a missing 9-year-old girl, last seen in the Fort Myers area, has been upgraded to an Amber Alert.

According to deputies, Diana Alvares was believed to be in the company of 28-year-old Jorge Guerrero. Guerrero, who has ties to Orange and Okeechobee counties, was found and arrested Friday night. Diana is still missing, authorities said.

Diana is described by deputies as a white/Hispanic girl, 4-foot-5 and 95 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.  She was last seen wearing a short-sleeve shirt and shorts.

The relationship between Diana and Guerrero has not been made clear.

Deputies initially put out an alert for Diana on Monday, a day after she had last been seen.
