1 dead after crash involving matching racing cars

- A crash involving a yellow Lamborghini and a yellow Porche - by drivers who are boyfriend and girlfriend - killed another driver Wednesday, police said.

The Delray Beach Police Department said a yellow Lamborghini, driven by the boyfriend, and a yellow Porche, driven by the girlfriend, were speeding down a one-way street around 4:30 p.m. As they neared an intersection, the Lamborghini crashed into a Buick Enclave.

Police said the woman in the Porche parked the car at a restaurant just feet from the crash scene, then left.

An officer arrived soon after and gave the Buick's driver CPR until paramedics arrived, but the person was pronounced dead at the hospital. The Lamborghini's driver was also taken to the hospital and was in serious condition.

Traffic homicide investigators were conducting an investigation to build an accurate timeline of events and the whereabouts of the Lamborghini driver before the crash.
