Voter in FL's Electoral College being harassed to change vote from Trump

- Susan Moore is one of the 29 selected to represent Florida in the Electoral College, and says she’s being harassed to change her vote on December 19.

Moore going to cast her vote for President-elect Donald Trump, based on the outcome of votes in the state. She told Fox’s Maria Bartiromo people are harassing her, and other electors - urging them to change their votes.

Even though she has received around 1,800 emails, she says she won't budge.

"Electors, at least in Florida… we're pledged. I signed a pledge and I intend to vote for Donald Trump,” Moore explained.

She said the volume of emails, calls and texts is enough to make her feel uneasy, but said many of them were “belligerent.”

"They'll say, ‘I'm begging you, please vote for Hillary because she won the popular vote.’  I think those emails are based on a misconception,” Moore said. “I mean, we are a Republic and so the Electoral Colleges is where things happen. I think a lot of people don't understand that."

Members of the Electoral College are typically not publicly known figures, but Moore said “there are several websites” providing members’ names, addresses and emails, as well as sample letters that can be sent to Electoral College members, asking them to change their votes.

"I think there is a bit of an intimidation factor there.  Several phone calls I've gotten… people saying that they want to send me special packages and things like that. I don't know what that means, but I think there's an intimidation factor there, but I really don't think there's anything to be frightened about," she said.

Moore saying she has been offered security, but does not think it is necessary. She added, there’s no changing her mind.

"The great majority of people that were chosen as electors are party faithful, party loyalists and I wouldn't flip my vote anyways," she said.
