Epcot's Spaceship Earth turns into the Death Star

- For one night, Spaceship Earth was transformed into the Death Star, complete with shooting laser beams, ahead of the release of Rogue One - A Star Wars Story.

The exciting one-time event was streamed live on the Disney Parks Blog and included the announcement of new Star Wars experiences coming to Walt Disney World.

Starting in December, there will be new tracks and scenes added to Star Tours, with each ride experience launching from a random different location instead of Jakku, for every galactic journey.

There are also a experiences, replicas and memorabilia in the multi-sensory space known as the Star Wars Launch Bay, and a Rogue One-theme in the daytime stage show.

"The Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular" will return to Hollywood Studios Dec. 16 and join "Jingle Bell, Jingle BAM!" as a second nightly fireworks show throughout December.

There will also be a brand new Star Wars guided tour for the ultimate fan, which is a seven-hour immersion into the world of Star Wars and includes all the park's Star Wars experiences, meeting Chewbacca and Kylo Ren, and Star Wars-themed menu items, along with a dessert party, among other experiences.
