Alert issued for missing 4-year-old from Gainesville

- A Florida MISSING CHILD Alert has been issued for a 4-year-old Gainesville girl.

the Alachua County Sheriff's Office says 4-year-old Gabrinna Nelson was last seen in the area of NW 8th Avenue and NW 34th Street in Gainesville, Florida.

Gabrinna is a black female who is 3 feet tall and weighs about 30 pounds. Gabrinna has black hair and brown eyes. 

Police believe she might be with 44-year-old Gary Nelson, a black male who is 6’ 1” tall, weighs about 175 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes.

Gary Nelson was last seen wearing a black shirt and blue jeans.

They may be traveling in a 1999, red Ford Taurus with a Florida tag, number Y63 AMU.

Deputies say if they are located, do not approach them, but call 911 right away.

Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Gabrinna or Gary Nelson is asked to call the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office at 352-955-1818 or call 911.
