Annual dachshund parade kicked off NYE celebrations in Key West

- Key West went to the dogs on New Year’s Eve as they hosted their annual parade.

Hundreds of little dachshunds were ready to ring in the New Year. The pups were out on parade Monday, some with costumes and fun accessories. It is the 12th year the town held the parade.

Some of the so-called wiener dogs dressed as Santa and Mrs. Claus, a cheerleader, and even superheroes. There were unicorns and crab constumes.

Tens of thousands of people were expected to head to Key West to ring in 2019.
