Depression opens up at Forest High School

An official with Marion County Schools has confirmed that a ground depression has opened up in a Designated Retention Area (DRA) at Forest High School.

The depression is in a designated area on campus, which is basically a retention pond without any standing water in it. The official went on to say that there was no major impact to campus.

Marion County Schools is not calling this a sinkhole yet, as they do not have the official authority to do so.
