A Florida man was arrested while riding his lawn mower, but he wasn't trying to cut his grass, police said.

On November 3, around 6:15 p.m., Port St. Lucie noticed Kenneth Burton Alleshouse, 56, was on his red Snapper mower and carrying a case of beer. They said he was driving erratically on an access road in the 10400 block of U.S. Highway 1.

When an officer stopped him, a strong odor of alcohol was obvious, according to a media release. The release didn't indicate his exact blood alcohol contact, but did say it was three times above the legal limit. The legal BAC for Florida is 0.08.

Alleshouse was arrested for DUI and taken to the St. Lucie County Jail.
