Florida woman arrested for kicking dog repeatedly in elevator

- A Florida woman was arrested and charged with animal cruelty after being caught on surveillance video repeatedly kicking a small dog in an elevator.

The video shows the woman, identified as Keevonna Wilson, kicking the little dog as it cowers in the corner, and then when it runs to the other corner, kicking it repeatedly again.

It happened at the Artech Condominiums in Aventura on Sept. 20. 

Police arrested the 24-year-old woman and the dog was removed by Miami-Dade Animal Services and treated for its injuries.
