Illegally-parked Flintstones ride reunited with owner

City of Key West -- Government

They probably don't know what the internet even is, but the Flintstones family is taking it over after a car resembling theirs caused quite the stir in Key West Thursday.

The vehicle- complete with zebra-striped seating, no doors and Stone Age looking wheels- was red tagged for being illegally parked in the public right of way at 828 Emma Street.

And the City of Key West took to Facebook in an effort to track down the owner.

"The City would really like to find the owner before we have to take it away," a post on their page said. "Please help us find the owner of this ride... QUICKLY!."

It may not have been "QUICKLY", but thousands of likes, shares and comments later- the city was able to update their post to say that the owner had been found.
