Man arrested for Ocala cobra escape

- Deputies with the Marion County Sheriff's Office arrested a man earlier this month in connection with the cobra that escaped from a home in Ocala.

Florida Fish and Wildlife officials say Ian Nesmith, 28, is an apprentice to the snake's owner.  They say Nesmith violated a Florida Wildlife Code when he left the cobra's cage unsecured.  Nesmith has since bonded out of jail but is due back in court next week.
