WATCH: Mom fights off car-jackers, saves children from abduction

- A mother fought off a potential car-jacking, and the possible abduction of her children, near Miami.

Surveillance cameras captured the woman fighting off a trio of assailants near a convenience store in Hialeah.

Two men tried getting into the car of one woman, but, she locked herself in her vehicle.

They moved on to another vehicle, but, the woman inside fought back, thinking her kids would be abducted in the theft.

It's when the three tried to escape.

Hialeah Police Department's Carl Zogby said, "..she was a mom, and what that bad guy didn't know, in the back seat of that car were two kids. She wasn't gonna let them be taken, so she fought. She dragged the guy out of the car and they both ran away like cowards."

All three face several charges, including attempted car-jacking and fleeing police.

The judge ordered all three to stay away from the woman they're accused of trying to car-jack.

Bond was set at $25,000 each.
