Oviedo teen in trouble for hug to serve detention Friday

The Oviedo teenager facing punishment for hugging a friend in school will serve her detention Friday.
14-year-old Ella Fishbough's received national attention when the Jackson Heights Middle School student gave her friend a quick hug on Monday.
The school has a strict policy  banning public displays of affection and gave Fishbough a detention.
Her mother went to the school Thursday to fight the penalty but the attorney representing the family says the school will move forward in enforcing the policy.
Fishbough will serve her detention in the morning.
