Report: Employees held hostage in Miami club

- Police in Miami are responding to a club where bar managers are reportedly holding employees hostage.

Police responded to the Joseph Club around 2:45 p.m. Monday and nearby schools were placed on lockdown. 

According to police, a woman in the club told investigators that management was holding multiple people hostage inside after a cell phone was reportedly stolen. 

Video at the scene shows SWAT officers near the club with the club taped off. 

Officers are trying to make contact with the management and hostages, WSVN reports.
