JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (FOX 13) - Deputies are searching for an inmate who escaped a Jacksonville-area prison early Saturday morning.
Authorities said 22-year-old Micky Turner escaped from the Dinsmore Community Correctional Center around 2:50 a.m.
Turner cut off his ankle monitor and left it on his bed in his cell, deputies said.
He had originally been incarcerated for burglary.
Turner is 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 155 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and royal blue sweatpants with white stars on them.
