Several Disney resorts go pet-friendly

Soon it will be possible for guests to experience the magic of Disney with their four-legged family members.

Four Walt Disney Resorts are going pet-friendly.

Walt Disney World announced that starting Sunday, Oct. 15, the resorts will welcome guests along with their canine companions, which will offer outdoor pet exercise areas and green spaces to walk them.

There is also doggie daycare and other pet services offered nearby at an on-property, full-service pet care facility called "Best Friends."

The resorts that will be welcoming pets are disney's Yacht Club Resort, Disney Port Orleans Resort - Riverside, Disney's Art of Animation Resort, and cabins at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground.

Up to two dogs per guest room will be allowed.

There will be a pet-cleaning fee of $75 a night at Disney's Yacht Club and $50 a night at the other resorts.

The dogs are expected to be well behaved and on leashes, as well as have proper vaccinations.
