VIDEO: Coast Guard rescues 13 from yacht minutes before it sinks off the coast of Florida

- The Coast Guard rescued 13 people from a sinking yacht just off the coast of Lauderdale-by-the-Sea Monday.

The Coast Guard Cutter Margaret Norvell responded to a report of the Serena III in trouble 13 miles off the coast of Broward County, Florida.

The people were rescued from the 103-foot yacht just before the yacht was seen on Coast Guard video taking on water, then completely sinking.

There were no reports of injuries. No word yet on what caused the yacht to sink, but the Coast Guard is investigating.
