Woman stabbed by man outside Home Depot

- Authorities said a woman has died after being stabbed by a man in the parking lot of a Home Depot in Kissimmee.  It happened around 4:30 p.m. Friday afternoon the store located at 1651 S. Poinciana Boulevard.

The woman, identified as 38-year-old Silvia Castillo-Aguilera, ran into the garden center of the store, where she collapsed.  Deputies said she received a laceration to the neck and was transported to Osceola Regional Hospital, where she was pronounced dead. 

The man, identified as 37-year-old Daniel Ortiz,  was located a short while later and taken into the custody.   

"The investigation revealed that Daniel Ortiz and Silvia Castillo-Aguilera had a domestic relationship," said Osceola County Sheriff Bob Hansell.  "The two met in the parking lot of the Home Depot, which is where the disturbance began."
 
Ortiz is charged with first-degree murder and is being held at the Osceola County Jail without bond.
