Doctor dressed like Chewbacca tells boy he's getting a new heart

- A young boy in Chicago found out from a special friend that he's getting a new heart.

Austin is a patient at Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago, Illinois.

He was on the list for a heart transplant, and this Saint Patrick's Day, Austin was extra lucky.

He got a surprise visit from his doctor, dresses Chewbacca on Saturday.

And Chewie delivered some good news. Austin was getting a new heart. His reaction was priceless.

Apparently, Austin’s doctor had agreed to dress like Chewbacca if a heart became available, so when Austin saw his big, furry friend, he knew what was happening.

“Wait, wait, wait, we got… a heart?” Austin said as Chewbie confirmed in his native language, Shyriiwook.

The two share a double high-five before Austin proceeds to jump up and down and do a little dance. Then they hugged as Chewie continued his sounds of encouragement.
