Man accused of taking photos up Sarasota woman's skirt

- A woman says she caught a man taking photos up her skirt after he followed her around an antique store Wednesday.

The Sarasota County Sheriff's Office hopes someone will recognize the man seen in surveillance video inside the store.

Detectives said the 46-year-old victim was shopping at Bon Bon Vintage in the 3000 block of Tuttle Avenue around 11:15 a.m. when the suspect, described as a black male in his 40s, started talking to her.

The victim said the man proceeded to follow her through the store. When she became suspicious, she turned around to find him crouched down behind her, taking photos.

When she confronted him, he ran from the store.

Surveillance video shows the suspect walking through the business with his cell phone in his hand.

He was wearing a light blue button-down shirt, khaki shorts and deck shoes.

Anyone with information is asked to call (941) 861-4900.
