Manatee deputies get down with neighborhood kids

- It's always nice to see law enforcement out in their community, getting to know the people they serve.

In Tuesday morning's Good Day Good Geed, we get to see some deputies showing off their dancing skills while spending the day with some kids.

Over the weekend, some deputies with the Manatee County Sheriff's Office participated in the Manasota Angels of Peace first annual kids community cookout event, and they didn't just show up to chat.

In video shot by Robert Powell and posted to Facebook, some got down and wiggled around.

On the Manatee County Sheriff's Office Facebook page, deputies said this weekend allowed them to bridge the gap and they had lots of fun with the kids - and this video shows it.
