Police: 14-year-old shot in Tampa

- A 14-year-old child was shot Saturday evening in Tampa.

The shooting happened on N. 48th St. just before 9 p.m. Tampa police say the child was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.

The victim's identity has not been released.

Police have not said what led up to the shooting. No arrests have been made. Police are looking for a suspect.
