Three shot at Palmetto Nightclub early Saturday

- Three people are recovering after being shot inside a Palmetto Nightclub.

It went down around 2 a.m. on Saturday inside The Hall nightclub on U.S. 301 North.

Palmetto police said someone fired several shots - hitting three people. They were all taken to the hospital and are expected to make full recoveries.

Five others suffered minor injuries while running out of the club, but nothing life threatening.

Michelle Horst, who works at a nearby business, said news of the shooting deeply concerned her.

"It's scary. Any shooting that happens anywhere is scary but especially local and when you work next door," said Horst.

Police said they do not have any suspects, but they were still interviewing witnesses and victims. There was no video taken inside the club during the shooting.

Anyone with information about the shooting should call the Palmetto Police Department at 941-723-4587 or remain anonymous and eligible for a reward by calling Manatee County Crime Stoppers at 866-634-8477.
