17-year-old dies in Town 'N Country homicide, deputies said

- A 17-year-old male was murdered in a Town 'N Country apartment, deputies said.

Hillsborough County deputies responded to The Greens of Town 'N Country Condominium located at 7518 Camarina Calle in Tampa on Thursday night, where the victim was transported to St. Joseph’s Hospital and later died from his injuries, they said. 

They said all parties involved most likely knew each other, so there isn't a danger to the public. Detectives do not believe there is any relation to the unsolved Seminole Heights murders. 

The crime occurred in the apartment parking lot where residents hearing gun shots. 

Deputies do not think the victim is a resident. No other details were immediately available, such as a suspect identity or description. The victim’s identity hasn’t been released due to notification of kin.
