Boil-water alert for Wauchula residents

- The entire city of Wauchula spent much of the day without water Monday.  The city says workers accidentally broke the main line to the water towers Monday morning while putting in storm drains.

The water had to be shut off while the pipe is repaired, leaving over 6,000 people high and dry.

The city says the water was starting to flow again late Monday night.  However, all customers remain under a boil-water notice.
