Polk Co. deputy distracts baby so parents can eat

- A Polk County Deputy is getting plenty of kudos from one local couple after he helped them enjoy a meal while he attended to their baby.

A couple were at a local restaurant having dinner Saturday night, October 22nd, and so was Deputy Chris Brackin.

Apparently, the other person with no hair in the photo was keeping his parents from enjoying their meal. So, naturally, seeing he could offer his help, Deputy Brackin asked if he could distract the little one while mom and dad finished their meal uninterrupted. It worked - and Mom and dad were very grateful for the break.
