Police: Woman shot in St. Petersburg

- St. Petersburg police are investigating after a woman was shot early Saturday morning.

According to investigators, the victim was found shot behind a home on the 4600 block of 13th Avenue South.

Police said the victim is a 20-year-old female. She was taken to Bayfront Health with non-life threatening injuries.

It's unclear what led up to the shooting. St. Petersburg police are investigating.
