Humane Society seeks applications for 'box of puppies'

- The Humane Society of Tampa Bay now says they'll take early applications from anyone who wants to adopt one of those cute puppies that became TV stars on Good Day Tampa Bay last week.

The box of 12 puppies -- described as chocolate lab and pit bull terrier mixes -- was surrendered to the Humane Society a week ago.  After the adorable pups visited good day, the adoption requests came flooding in.

The puppies were supposed to be available on a first-come, first-serve basis on Black Friday.  But more than a thousand people have contacted the shelter, so in order to avoid a mad dash, the Humane Society decided to start accepting adoption applications now.

Applications have to be submitted by Saturday at 5 p.m.  You can find the details here: http://humanesocietytampa.org/pre-adoptions-chocolate-labs-now-available/

But if you miss out on these cute little guys, keep in mind there are a lot of other animals that need homes.  All animals 4 months old or older are 75-percent off on Black Friday.
