Lightning gear up for season with Fan Fest

- Thousands of fans are expected to pack the Amalie Arena on Sunday for the Tampa Bay Lightning’s 2015 Fan Fest.

The festivities kick off at 9 a.m. for season ticket holders, and doors open to the public at 11 a.m.

Fans are still feeling the excitement from the Lightning’s successful season last year. The team made it all the way to the Stanley Cup playoffs, but lost the series to the Chicago Blackhawks 4-2.

The Bolts’ first game of the 2015 season is at home against the Philadelphia Flyers on Oct. 8.
