Police: 2 shot in South St. Petersburg

- Police were on the scene of a shooting in south St. Petersburg. 

The St. Petersburg Police Department said officers responded to a call of two people shot at 1608 Russell Street South. One of them may have life-threatening injuries.

Major Crimes Unit detectives were responding to the scene to investigate.
