Report of 'armed' person forces Hernando school lockdown

- Hernando County deputies are at Moton Elementary School after a report that someone was spotted behind the school who may have been armed.

The school was placed on lockdown as a precaution, the sheriff's office said.  "Numerous" deputies checked the the area with search dogs and a helicopter, but nothing turned up.

The all-clear was given by 4 p.m.
