Car break-ins reported by Circle B Bar visitors

- Almost every day, Alexus Wolfe goes to Circle B Bar Reserve in Lakeland to photograph wildlife.

When she returned from a photo safari a few days ago, she made a very unpleasant discovery. Her purse was missing from under the backseat of her car.

"I pretty much freaked out," Wolfe told FOX 13.

Wolfe is one of four people whose cars have been broken into in a little more than a week.

Someone smashed another woman's car window to gain access to her belongings. A few hours later, the woman's  debit card was used at a Citgo station on K-ville Road in Auburndale.

The Polk County Sheriff's Office now has a surveillance video of a woman getting out of the passenger side of a car, pumping gas, then getting back in.

Detectives don't have any suspects.

If you know anything about the thefts, please call Heartland Crimestoppers at 1 (800) 226-TIPS.
